Hi! I’m Linda and I’m the designer here at PARTY IN MY HEAD.
When I was a kid, my mom taught me how to cross stitch. I enjoyed it but eventually, life took over and the hobby was left behind. Even as I moved around the southern United States, I still carried all of my materials and supplies of thread, fabric, and patterns with me. It’s a wonder that I did not lose my stash since at one point I had moved 15 times in about 10 years!
Finally, I moved to Montana and decided that I needed to pick up something to give me a creative outlet again. It was a slow start, but I finished a few projects and eventually picked up steam again. Finally, in 2020 – the year of the never-ending quarantine – I knew I finally had an outlet that would allow me to get out all of the things rattling around in my head.
So between cracking myself up with my quirky thoughts and herding the cats, hubby, mom, and mom’s dogs, I’ll plan on cranking out the designs as fast as my fingers and mental health will allow. I hope that you enjoy stitching them as much as I do.
Above: Bocephus aka Bo, BoBo, Captian Fussy Knickers, Moo Cow, BAB (Big Ass Baby), and Mama’s Boy.
Above: Hazel aka Whack Job, Gunslinger, Fuzzbucket, Crazy Hazy, and NitWit.
And when mom moved in with us a couple of years ago, we also were “blessed” with her doggos – Buffy (left) and Babe (right). I have huge list of names I call these two but usually it ends up being Dumbass (Buffy) and Sausage (Babe).
